Making/Seeding Torrents with Transmission
This Video Tutorial is designed to compliment the already comprehensive tutorials on this subject area. I found that even after reading some of the tutorials and watch the video I could not seed files I had created. After speaking to members of the forum I managed to get it sorted. Kudos to Robimac for helping.
I therefore decided to do a screencast/video on the process to try and cut out on any niggling issues that may be causing any of you problems.

Key Points:
- Step One: Create the Torrent file (File > Create Torrent)
- Step Two: Create a new thread at Peerden.com, and upload the Torrent
- Step Three: Submit the thread, and RE-DOWNLOAD the torrent
- Step Four: Import the Torrent into Transmission - When it asks for a Save to directory, choose the path that already contains the file. This allows Transmission to know you have the file, and don't need to download it again. Hence you can seed.
- You MUST click Verify Local Data, after you have chosen the path, that will tell transmission the file is there, verify the data and start seeding.
- Hit OK and you are done!!
